There's a Dog in the School!

Today started out dreary. It was cloudy, raining, and about 40 degrees (which is cooooold for Texas). Getting to school took and extra 20 minutes since everyone was driving especially carefully. One of the teachers in my wing came into work with much more than her sack lunch. She found a lost dog outside the school. It was cold, wet, and shaking. It was probably 30 lbs., golden like a retriever, with the body of a young weimaraner. He had tags so we called the number and left messages. We hope that the number is the home phone and they will call sometime after 5, otherwise, someone in our school may have a new dog. None of us has the heart to put him out or take him to the pound. Who knows?! It might even be me. I had thought about getting a new dog once I got a house....Just kidding. Wishing you the best year ever...Mel!
